So finally managed to get Land Rover assist out for a record 20th time to regenerate the DPF. On this occasion the fault occurred after 250 miles which is an improvement but still leaves the vehicle not fit for purpose. Interestingly the Land Rover assist technicians say they rarely have DPF callouts and if 250 miles could trigger a genuine DPF their entire breakdown service would grind to a halt.
Sadly JLRs stance remains that the vehicle is fault free and working to "design intent".
